Class I indications for oral anticoagulant therapy:
- prior implantation of mechanical heart valve prothesis,
- prior implantation of biological heart valve prothesis + other indications for oral anticoagulant therapy.

Class IIa indications for oral anticoagulant therapy:
- implantation of biological mitral valve prothesis before less than 3 months,
- implantation of biological tricuspid valve prothesis before less than 3 months,
- mitral valve repair before less than 3 months.

Class IIb indications for oral anticoagulant therapy:
- implantation of biological aortic valve prothesis before less than 3 months.
