Class IIa indications for aspirin therapy:
- prior implantation of mechanical heart valve prothesis + atherosclerotic disease,
- prior implantation of mechanical heart valve prothesis + prior thromboembolism despite adequate INR,
- implantation of biological aortic valve prothesis before less than 3 months.
